Directions
: Apply Ultraquin topically in the morning and at bedtime or as directed by a physician to areas you wish to depigment. Application should be restricted to areas no larger than face, or neck, or hands and arms. Do not apply near eyes and cuts, after shaving or using a depilatory, over sunburn or irritated skin. Skin discolourations usually begin to lighten or fade after a few weeks of treatment. However, it is important to continue daily treatment for up to 12 weeks since depigmenting is a very gradual process. If results are not satisfactory after 12 weeks of treatment, consult your physician. As soon as sufficient lightening is obtained, apply Ultraquin only as needed to maintain skin free of hyperpigmentation. For external use only. Use only as directed by a physician.
Precautions
Before treatment, test for sensitivity by applying Ultraquin to a small patch of unbroken skin (one cm square). Commence treatment if no redness occurs in 24 hours. Discontinue treatment if irritation or allergic response develops. Ultraquin should not be used on children under 12. Sunlight or ultraviolet light exposure will lead to repigmentation and will slow down or prevent the fading (depigmenting) action of Ultraquin.
